Floating LNG System Studies and Design
OGS completed studies and FEED design associated with a self-propelled offshore LNG production vessel capable of pre-treating and liquefying natural gas, as well as storing, and offloading. The floating LNG system was designed with a capacity of 1.7 mtpa LNG, and an average annual production of 1.5 mtpa. LNG is stored in four prismatic type cargo tanks with a total capacity of 170,000 cubic meters.
Regasification Unit

This unit is designed for temporary installation on an LNG producing FPSO to vaporize LNG in order to test the operation of the natural gas processing equipment on the vessel, including the Gas Pre-Treatment and Liquefaction Modules. Booster pumps pressurize the LNG into a shell and tube heat exchanger. The exchanger heats and re-gasifies the LNG using fresh water from a closed cooling water system. The heated natural gas then leaves the module at the necessary feed conditions for testing the natural gas liquefaction equipment. Equipment arrangement was optimized for ease of installation and quick removal after testing, while at the same time meeting all the requirements for personnel safety and peak operation of the process equipment.
Generic FPSO
SHI and
OGS are currently working on the development of a midsized Generic FPSO for various regions throughout the world. With this concept, SHI will be able to offer clients a new build, 1.6 mmbbl storage or smaller FPSO at a price that is competitive to a conversion. In addition, the delivery schedule is currently estimated at 24-28 months from contract signing.
Marinization of Optimized Cascade LNG

The optimized Cascade LNG Process is a proven onshore success.
OGS performed studies to take the land based system and fully develop its use in the offshore environmnet.
OGS provided modularization and marinization input as well as field specific support in the development of the project.
Mid-Size Liquefaction Vessel
OGS has completed FEED work associated with a mid-size FLNG Unit for a confidential client. The nominal LNG production capacity is 3 million metric tons per annum of LNG. The process includes three parallel 1 MMTPA liquefaction trains and common facilities for inlet gas handling, dehydration, fractionation, boil-off gas handling, and some utilities. The LNG and condensate products will be offloaded to other vessels.
Goliat Round FSPO

Goliat is a round FPSO design based on Sevan's proprietary technology.
OGS participated in the support of a FEED study to develop a topsides design for this FPSO.
OMNI Water Treatment System
OGS recently completed detailed design and engineering for a proprietary mobile water treatment unit specialized in treating hydro fracturing fluids. The work involved the compact and modular layout of a system capable of fitting onto a conventional low-boy trailer for easy movement in the field from one site to another.
Exelerate Energy - Lavaca Bay FLSO
OGS performed the front-end engineering work for the topside facilities of this 4 million tonnes per year floating liquefaction vessel. The first to be sited in the U.S. and the Gulf of Mexico, located at Port Lavaca, Texas.
